The spiritual awakening is an unveiling of what is, as is.
As we part the veils, we sacrifice the unknowing.
As we wake, we sacrifice our slumber.
As we switch on, we sacrifice darkness of ignorance.
As a woman menstruates, she sacrifices blood.
As a man impregnates, he sacrifices semen.
As cells multiply, they sacrifice their membranes.
As we grow, we sacrifice our limits.
As we comply to what we are, we sacrifice being seen for what we're not.
As we plunge into non duality, we sacrifice the differences.
As we expand to embrace duality, we sacrifice polarization.
Sacrifice implies voluntary, conscious choice.
Sacrifice terrifies habituated thought processes, naturally.
Sacrifice necessitates congruency of free will, tested faith and right action.
As we identify with the heart and aim of Phoenix, sacrifice is key.
And alchemically that sacrifice begins before the Phoenix is risen in our mind.
That sacrifice beings when we are most compelled to take refuge inside.
That sacrifice is rooted in blind spots and the deeper dark innards under our skin.
As we dance for long enough with our shadow, we sacrifice fear of what's hiding within.
As we dance for long enough without fear, we sacrifice attachment to moving.
